I was awarded my BSc, MSc and PhD in naval architecture and ocean engineering at Harbin Engineering University, Jiangsu University of Science and Technology and Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2001, 2007 and 2014.
My research interests cover the following areas:1)Sloshing phenomenon and it's coupling effects with ship motions. For sloshing problem it is studied by CFD methods taking into consideration of impact load, air entrapment, density stratification and so on.While the coupling effects are investigated by a combined 2-D potential strip method and CFD approach;2)Meshless particle method and it's application in fluid mechanics.Based on a weakly compressible moving particle semi-implicit method, some application problems are studied, such as water flooding or oil leakage of damaged ships, liquid sloshing in tanks;3)Nolinear wave-body interaction in rough seas.Using mesh based CFD tools, some engineering problems are studied, such as largr amplitude motion of floating body considering greenwater and slamming in heading severe seastates.
I have been working over 10 years in the area of ship hydrodynamic performances and ship computational fluid mechanics. And I have a deep interest and strong willingness to do research work, and have undertaken several research projects both in academic research and industrial application.Resultantly,I have gained some invaluable understanding of ship hydrodynamic performances through these projects. Until now, I have published over 10 research papers both in conferences and journals.
