  • Xueying is a master's supervisor who received her Ph.D. in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering from Harbin Engineering University, with two years of joint doctoral training at the Technical University of Denmark.

During her Ph.D. studies, she independently developed Navier-Stokes equation solvers for both single-phase and two-phase flows, applying them to various fluid-structure interaction problems in ocean engineering. She has published over 10 high-level papers, including 5 in prestigious international journals such as Coastal Engineering and Ocean Engineering. She also serves as a reviewer for several high-impact SCI journals, including Physics of Fluids and Ocean Engineering.

  • The research primarily focuses on hydrodynamics in the field of naval architecture and ocean engineering. It involves using CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) methods to study the movement patterns of water flow in the ocean, the evolution of waves, and their impact on ships and ocean structures. The research subjects include offshore platforms, coastal engineering, offshore wind power, and more. By investigating hydrodynamic issues, the research aims to promote innovation and development in ocean engineering technology, addressing the growing needs for marine resource development and protection, and fostering the sustainable development of the marine economy.
