Environmental and energy photocatalysis, metal-free polymer functional materials.
In view of the current situation of environmental pollution and energy shortage, the development and utilization of solar energy as a clean power source is an effective way to solve the above problems. Semiconductor materials, as the medium for converting solar energy to chemical energy, are the research center. Metal-free polymer semiconductor has advantages of no pollution, rich and easy access. Based on metal-free polymer carbon nitride as the research subject, high-performance metal-free semiconductor materials have been researched and developed through molecular design and synthesis process optimization approach. Expanded utilization ratio of solar energy and optimized molecular and electronic structure are expected, in order to make full use of solar energy. As a result, clean energy hydrogen will be efficiently prepared from water splitting, and environmental pollutants will be oxidation / reduction removal.
