Dr. Gang XU graduated from the College of Shipbuilding, Harbin Engineering University in 2004 and finished the doctoral course at the same college in 2010. After serving as a Software Developer at DNV GL and as (Senior) Researcher at Qatar University and National University of Singapore, he became the Professor at School of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering, Jiangsu University of Science and Technology in 2020. In 2017, he became an Associate Dean for Graduate Studies at same school. He has a doctorate degree in Mechanical Engineering and specializes in hydrodynamic analysis of floating bodies.
