  • I was awarded my BSc, MSc and PhD in computer science at Northeast Normal University, Jilin University and De Montfort University in 2006, 2009 and 2014. My PhD thesis focuses on migrating legacy systems into cloud environment. A unified approach is proposed in the context of three-dimension to consider legacy software evolution. From being a PhD student, I complemented knowledge of formal methods and transformed from a complete “non-formalist” to “somewhat-formalist”. I have worked on a formal language (WSL) and program semantics for program transformation. I have also researched type systems and formal model transformation.

I have been working in the area of software evolution and test, service-oriented architecture and software data mining. I am interested in the formal analysis of software systems with the long-term aim of building a coherent set of conceptual frameworks and machine learning methods for software data mining. I have a strong background in a combination of academic research and industrial application. I have gained invaluable understanding of system software, distributed systems, real-time systems, critical systems and security systems through many projects. As research outputs, I have published over 10 research papers in refereed conferences and Journals and I have also written  several technical reports and proposals.
