Houlian Wang received a Ph.D. degree in mechatronic engineering from China University of Mining and Technology, Xuzhou, China, in 2019. He was also a Visiting Ph.D. Student for 15 months at Imperial College London, London, U.K .

He is an associate professor and master supervisor, with the School of Mechanical Engineering, Jiangsu University of Science and Technology, Zhenjiang, China. He is the PIs for National Natural Science Foundation of China, Natural Science Foundation of Jiangsu Province, Jiangsu Planned Projects for Postdoctoral Research Funds, and Jiangsu Key Laboratory Open Project Fund.
