Prof. Huabing Wen, a Ph.D. supervisor in Marine and Ocean Engineering, is the Dean of the School of Energy & Power Engineering and the Director of the Vibration and Noise Research Institute at Jiangsu University of Science and Technology (JUST). He received his M.S. degree in Marine Engineering from JUST, followed by his Ph.D. degree in Vehicle Engineering from Jiangsu University. He was once sent as a visiting scholar to the Hong Kong University as a young key teacher in Jiangsu Province.

In addition, he is also a double-innovation talent in Jiangsu Province, a national professional senior vibration analyst, a chartered engineer of Marine engineering of IMarEST Maritime Association in the UK, the director of CCS Ship Vibration and Noise Testing Center, the director of Zhenjiang Key Laboratory of Ship Power Equipment Performance, a standing member of the Vibration and Noise Control Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Vibration Engineering, a member of the Auxiliary Machinery Branch of the Marine Engineering Academic Committee of the Chinese Society of Shipbuilding Engineering, a member of the Standardization Branch of China Shipbuilding Industry Association, a member of the National Postgraduate Education Evaluation and Monitoring Expert Database, the editorial board member of the journals Noise and Vibration Control and Journal of Jiangsu University of Science and Technology (Natural Science Edition) , and an excellent reviewer of the journal Vibration and Shock.

In addition to the above-mentioned honors, he has also presided over more than 40 projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology and enterprise cooperation projects, and won 6 Science and Technology Progress Awards. He has also published more than 50 academic papers, 3 academic monographs, 35 authorized invention patents and 8 software copyrights.

Served as the first level discipline leader of Power Engineering and Engineering Thermophysics, the national first-class professional director of marine engineering, he presided over the completion of three provincial-level teaching research key projects, published one key textbook in Jiangsu Province, and guided students to win one provincial-level excellent graduation design, five university-level excellent master's thesis, and more than 10 national university discipline competitions.

Most importantly, His enrollment majors are: (1) Ship and Ocean Engineering (PHD, Master); (2) Marine Engineering (PHD, Master); (3) Energy and Power (Master). His main research interests are: (1) Mechanical dynamics analysis and optimization design, (2) Ship vibration and noise control technology. It is hoped that interested young researchers can participate in the research and learning of Prof. Wen's group.
