Wang Liyan, Professor, Engineering Doctor. She is a member of Geotechnical Engineering Earthquake Prevention and Disaster Reduction Professional Committee of China Seismological Society, a youth member of China Geosynthetics Engineering Association, a member of International Society of Geomechanics and Geotechnical Engineering,a member of International Society of Geosynthetics, a youth member of Jiangsu Foundation Professional Committee, and vice chairman of the first council of Zhenjiang Society of Engineers. She is mainly engaged in the research of soil dynamics and earthquake engineering, coastal engineering protection, resource recycling of solid waste materials, and retaining wall structure transformation technology. She was awarded the third level training object (2018) of the 333 High level Talent Training Project in Jiangsu Province, the C-type candidate for high-level talent training of the six talent peaks in Jiangsu Province (2016), and the outstanding young teacher of the Blue Blue Project in colleges and universities in Jiangsu Province (2016). She presided over 3 national projects and 3 provincial and ministerial projects. The first author or corresponding author has published more than 35 academic papers in SCI/EI journals, a monograph and a textbook. She won the third prize of Jiangsu Science and Technology Award, the first prize of the National Civil Engineering Multimedia Teaching Courseware Competition of Colleges and Universities in China.
