  • Introduction

    Wang Renhua, a professor with a doctorate, is a master's supervisor and a third-level talent of Jiangsu Province's 333 Project. He is also the principal investigator of a first-class course in Jiangsu Province. His research focuses on the durability of steel and steel-concrete composite structures, safety assessment of in-service marine engineering structures, and damage identification and assessment based on AI technology. He has published over 40 papers in journals such as Marine Structures, Journal of Constructional Steel Research, Ocean Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Journal of Building Structures, and Ocean Engineering. As the first right holder, he has been granted 8 national invention patents. He serves as a communication reviewer for the National Natural Science Foundation of China, a director of the Structural Stability and Fatigue Branch of the China Steel Structure Association, a member of the Steel Structure Professional Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial Civil Engineering and Architecture Society, and a reviewer for over 20 domestic and international journals, including Engineering Structures, Constructional Building Materials, and Advances in Engineering Software. He has led and participated in 5 national-level projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation and the National 863 Program, and has led and completed 3 provincial and ministerial-level projects such as the Jiangsu Provincial Natural Science Foundation and the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development.
